  • 結尾 organizer 自動 wrap up

  • Action items

Name + Role + Why I'm here

Hi everyone, I'm Maki, PM on the Storage product line. I'm here because we're launching the new tiering feature next quarter and need design input.

  • I'm just a PM...
  • Sorry, I might not be the right person, but... (先 disclaim 自己)
  • My English is not so good, please bear with me.

Late join

Sorry I'm late — jumping in. Could someone catch me up in 30 sec?

Apologies for the late join. I'll catch the recording. Continue.

I'm not sure, but maybe we could...
I think we might want to consider...
My take is... / I'd argue that...
I strongly believe... / I'm convinced that...你有 data 撐
終局This is the right call because...你是 owner

矽谷標準推薦:直接用「My take is...」開場,比「I think」更明確、比「I strongly believe」更有空間。

Agreed, with one caveat: ... +1 on this. One thing to add: ... Strong agree on the direction. The execution piece I'd push on is ...

I agree on [A], but I'd challenge [B] because... Yes and... [proposal]

I see it differently — here's why: ...
I'd push back on that. The risk is ...
I have to disagree. [Specific reason]
很重This is a hill I'd die on. Here's why: ...

No, that's wrong. I don't think so. That doesn't make sense.

Quick question — [your point] Can I jump in? [your point] Sorry, on that point — [your point] If I may add — [your point]

Hey [name], pause for a sec — I want to flag something. Hold on — before we move on, [your point]

  • Chat:「Quick Q in chat 👇」 然後在 chat 打

Sorry, you cut out — could you repeat the last bit? I missed that — could you say it again? Connection's choppy — say that one more time?

Sorry, can I clarify — when you said X, did you mean Y or Z? Just to make sure I'm tracking — are we saying that...? Hold on, let me play that back — [restate]. Right?

Could you walk me through that with an example? Can you make it more concrete — what does that look like in practice? What does success look like here?

Hey, one at a time — [name], you go first, then [name]. Sorry, [name] was talking — finish your thought first.

Push back(會議中反對 stakeholder)

結構Acknowledge → Concern → Alternative → Open Q

範例:

Totally see why this would help with [their goal]. My concern is the cost — we'd need 6 weeks of eng time and might miss the Q3 deadline.

What if we phased it — ship the basic version in 2 weeks, then iterate?

What's your take?

Before we go down this path — what's the underlying assumption?
The data feels thin — what's the sample size?
I hear the urgency, but how does this stack against [other priority]?
質疑 scopeLove the ambition. Can we scope this — v1 vs v2?
提風險One risk worth flagging: [risk]. Mitigation?

Buying Time(爭取思考時間)

英文會議最怕被 cue「Maki, what do you think?」

That's a great question. Let me think about it for a second. Hmm, I want to make sure I give you a thoughtful answer — can you give me 10 seconds? I have a few thoughts — can I come back to this after [next person]? Honestly, I need to look at the data before answering. Can I get back to you by EOD?

I don't have a great answer right now — let me dig in and follow up tomorrow. Good question. I haven't thought about it from that angle. Let me get back to you.

Before we wrap, can I do a quick recap?

  1. [Person A] will [action] by [date]
  2. [Person B] will [action] by [date]
  3. We need to decide [open Q] by next meeting

Did I miss anything?

Owners: ... Deadline: ...
排下次 meetingShould we sync again next week? Same time?
留 open questionWe didn't resolve X — let's take it offline.
散會Thanks everyone, great discussion. Let's reconvene Thursday.
Hey [name], can you stay back for 5 min?

Mic / Camera

Camera on, mic muted
不講話時永遠 mute(背景噪音是大忌)
你在打字Mic 一定要 mute(鍵盤聲超大)
連線不穩Camera off + mic on,優先音訊

Sorry, I can't hear you — check your mic?
Wait, am I muted? Hold on.
The share's frozen on my end — try restarting?
Zoom's down — let's move to Google Meet. Link incoming.
I have a hard stop at the top of the hour — happy to follow up async.

  1. 「Tell me about a time you had to push back on a senior stakeholder.」
  2. 「How do you facilitate a meeting with conflicting opinions?」 → 講 acknowledge each side → restate trade-off → propose decision criteria
  3. 「You're in a meeting and the conversation is going off-track. What do you do?」 → 講「Let's park this and come back — for now, can we focus on the original Q?」
